Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) New Dtt On It's Way

Ordered my new DTT last week, i got tired of my stock Converter slipping so i made the call, Awesome people to deal with!! i got all the goodies to go in side of it, but the only problem was there about 2-3 weeks behind on there Converter so i ordered an ATS triple loc, DTT said that there Converters are good and DTT have no problem standing by there warranty, so my new trans should be here by thursday so i should have the truck back by saturday, now i can get a turbo and inj. I will let everyone know how it all works out.



Is there anyone else running a DTT with a ATS Converter ?

i have an ats convertor in the garage, just waiting on the dtt insides. should be an interesting combo. just hope the transmission parts can get along.

Is it even legal to post this thread?????? ATS and DTT, the parts may reject one another and you will end up with one hell of a mess. I for one would not plunk down big $$$ for that abortion. Good things come to those who wait

DTT will not warranty the converter but they will the trans.

DTT makes a single disc for a reason. You've lived with it this long, 3 weeks is just too much longer to hold out?



Wouldn't expect anything less out of the DTT crew though. Telling you that the other guys stuff is good too.

I ordered all my DTT parts 3 weeks ago and everything is in. Mass Diesel is doing the install Thursday. I can't wait !! Oo.

i do agree i should have waited but the problem is i need the truck for work and the trans is out of the truck, i have a rental car but i need the truck back ASAP, if i had the time i would have waited, well time will tell, but i don't think there will be any problems, (i hope) but if there are problems then i'll have to call Stefan and order his converter,
