Turning up power on PT pump on 855

Got a survey in the mail today

The good news is everybody will be subject to the same emissions garbage. I'd have a hard time believing Cummins will be trumped by Isuzu on this front. In fact it's been said that even our current 5. 9's could have been turned up from the factory but DC elected to hold it back a bit.

Who really cares? I got a fuel box, which I'm sure if I kept my truck for 10 years, I would still be putting down more power than whatever the newest baddest stock diesel does? Also when the truck was bone-stock I thought It made more than enough power, and to this day I rarely call on the edge for a hand.

mmm, thats open to debate. I guess it depends if you want a truck with more power or like us have to depend on fuel boxes to achieve it. Myself, I'll take all the factory power I can get because it is engineered to handle the engine output. So I guess yes, you can say I care.

I agree with you on that.

But I see it more like this... The more power it can hold from the factory, the more insane I can go with the aftermarket, for minimal amounts of money :D

A good examle being the ford 6. 0h no. Their stock transmission can take some power.

The "ETJ" 6. 7L Cummins already used in Ag and Construction will help a bit...

QSB275 (6. 7L) = 275hp@2500rpm and 730ft-lbs@1500rpm

They can easily crank up the HP a bit for use in a pickup...
