We are planning a Dyno Day in the St Louis area on the 28th of this month. the shop owner of the Dynojet 248 has never run a Dodge or Ford Diesel on it. we currently have 4 Dodges and 3 Fords scheduled to climb on.

This is where we need the TDR's help, where can we get a Good Tach source for both the 24V's and 12V trucks? and if anyone knows we need one on the PSD's too.

Both of the Dynojet 248s I've used have an optical pickup that gets RPMs from the balancer on the crankshaft. It has a magnetic base that mounts to the frame and a piece of reflective tape is stuck to the pulley.

he only has two different sizes of inductive pickups right now. any ideas?

he will have to order the optical pickup for you to get both hp and trq.

Where and when is this dyno testing going to take place ? ..... and how much $$$ ? I live close enough for St. L to be a convenient place to possibly get mine tested also ... if I can rearange my scedule on short notice. I will certainly try #ad

Be sure to not just rely on the magnetic base to hold the optical pick up in place. Even strapped down with plasic ties, have the operator tie a safety line from the pick-up to the hood latch in case it vibrates loose.
Your fan will make quick work of it #ad
