New Edge Attitude Mount

A few weeks back Mike at MGT Motorsports asked if I would like to try their new mount for the Edge Attitude Monitor. I had seen their mount before but like most were skeptical.

After recieving the mount the first thing I notice was I didnt need any tools. Everything was supplied. The mount it constructed out of aluminum and to say the least is very well made.

Installation was straight forward and and simple. The mount is extremely light weight and very rigid. I drive down a lot (I mean a lot) of rough oil field roads and not once has the mount moved, unlike the pod mount which I was constantly have to push the monitor back down on the velcro.

My favorite ideas with this mount are:
1. Out of sight and out of mind for theives.
2. Monitor in in the shaded area of the windsheild to help keep the heat off it.
3. Factory installed look.
4. Extremely secure mounting.
5. Very adjustable.
6. Little to no sun glare.

Now that's a nice mount, you can still physically use the unit, nice out of the way place.

These units are selling for $79 I think. Heck, I paid $70 for my molded plastic mount. which ofcourse Im getting rid of.

was there a picture in this thread? if so, I am not able to see it - is it a setting that i can change or was there really no pic?
