Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) new engine clicking noise

I have a new noise that i have never heard before. It sounds like it is coming from the injection pump or some where close to it. I only notice the noise in the truck when i am under hard acceleration. This noise is new so i am kind of worried about it. I have checked the codes and and none were set. When i was under the hood i could hear the same noise but now as loud as when i am under a hard acceleration. Is this something that i need to worry about or is it something that i can just ignore.

Does the DDUFM advance the timing? My Edge EZ makes a noticiable difference when it's on and hard acceleration.

it does advance the timing. i just dont see why i would be noticing it now and not when i installed it.

Check out the intake heater grid soleniods located on the drivers side fender under the battery. The clicking could be from them. Its cold out now.
