June Bride @ Thunder in Muncie

OK from the looks of it,there will be alot of members attending this gathering at MASSDIESELS. Here's a thought!!!might seem kinda gay but I use it alot in the winter for partys and campingOo. ... I have a military tent, sleeps 18,and heated with 2 stoves, wood or fuel, needs a clearing of about 25'x40',with 2people it takes about 45min/1hr to set up,with a croud like this, we can do it and have it heated in that time, and a good BUZZ going. Oo. Oo. can set it up and leave it until Sunday. sound like a dumb idea or not.

I'm in all long as we can make SMORES!!Oo. Oo. Oo.

We will need ventilation though:-laf SAFETY FIRST!!! That's alot of guys in a confined space:eek:

What is Scott's address???

You kill me, good idea that would be about the only way he'll keep up with me:-laf

TORQUE THIS!!!

Hmmmm,good mixture-no ventilation,confined space,lots of beer drinking men,oh and woman!!!

methane,a colorless, odorless, inflammable gaseous hydrocarbon. !!!! OK just keep away from the stoves:D

BIGDIG: I don't know what MSDS you're looking at... . but on my birth certificate, there are at least 5 warnings against the ferocious nature of my methane production/distribution... . there ain't nothing odorless or colorless about it! :-laf

Dad: We'll need a post-injector rematch... I just hope I can keep my EGT's down with the tiny VNT-15... :D

My gas doesn't have much in the way of texture... . unless I eat a lot of Taco-Bell - then the separation factor gets too much below the safety threshold and you're in the danger zone of using your shorts as a fart filter. :-laf

OK Holeshot, you left me speechless, you sound like your a riot,we'll hook up on the 22nd and combined our gas-mixures inside the tent!! if MASSDIESEL OKs the party tent idea:D

I noticed a while back you said you instruct high-angle rescue, I know you'd much rather talk shop with ladies (don't blame ya) but I'm curious who you teach for and if you free-lance. My company does all types of OSHA and HAZMAT training, lots of CSE stuff as well, but we are currently short one rescue trainer, we had a part time guy we would bring in a couple times a year but he doesn't do it anymore. PM me if this is up your alley

Does the tent come with restrooms? We need restrooms more than we need tents, but tents are good. Who is brave enough to ask Scott?

The count for folks showing up for F1 is truly pitiful.
I think we have about half a dozen, that's counting the guys that show up regardless. I have been told that this is a hell of a lot of fun. Y'all got laundry to do or what?

Alright, I ate my Wheaties and got up the gumption to ask Scott about the tent. Thanks, but we really don't have a place or need for the tent. Let's keep it in mind for future events!

Sounds like we have a pretty good turnout for the wrench day. Scott would like a headcount - worlklist - food plan.
Could you all post on this thread if you're coming?

New England Wrench Day Feb 22nd

"Texture in gas" I like it!
