My understanding was that we would meet at the westbound (?)rest area on the MASSPIKE just west of the 495 interchange between 630-645 and proceed to breakfast from there...

listen guys sorry i haven't been home so i am not from out that way what we are planning to do is meet at 630 to 7 at the rest area on west rte 90 masspike westboro rest area. then find a place right off the exit to eat if you guys wanna meet us at the off ramp at 715 to 730 then we can do that and a all go to breakfast if ur going to do that call me in my truck dial the shop number 508 528 6127 before 7 so we know ok see ya all their

I took about 16 pics. need to finish the roll before I have them developed.



As far as numbers, the gas guys were not too accurate in their estimations on their own horsepower... ... ... the diesels slammed them hard.

Highest horsepower was... ... ... ... ..... Massdiesel, 396 rwhp and about 850 ft bls.

Second highest, a 383 stroker, blown Chevy Suburban, 358 rwhp

Third highest... ... . ... . me, 350 rwhp, 771 ft lbs. ... ... woohoo!



The dyno place was nice, but didn't have their act together like Mike Dez. , Took a looooooooong time to hook-up my rig (again).

Those gasser guys must have been a bit upset to see engines smaller than theirs (in displacement) beating them without ignition systems... ... hahahahahahaha!!!!

Thanks Matt, I was grinnin in my linen when they yelled out 350 rwhp and 771 ft lbs. Oo.



The gas guys weren't happy at all. They said they should have gone first, but there really was no organization, so it was pretty much a free for all.



I think they were mainly upset with them not producing as high as most of the diesels... ... ... . I think they call it horsepower envy.

Soot Levels?

Hi guys I'd like to report an enjoyable morning for a first-timer. During the very slow going of the first few runs we[ my 12 year old son was with me, a necessary concession to the wife,he loved it] got to meet a few members and see a few set-ups Thanks to mwheaton, Mactruck and Lee from Mass. for some good info and a ride in Lee's DTT equiped truck. I can honestly report suprisingly LOW soot levels in the A. M. . Even Batmans 350 horse stock dually made more tire smoke getting lined up on the rollers than out the enlarged, I mean stock, exhaust. Looking forward to future meets... . Jim G.

Tech question for Batman

Batman, in my quest to improve my own signature and get my Stocker on the rollers in the future, a sincere curiosity. Do you know if your 3500 turbo is the HY35 that is installed on 2500s and how have you "modified" to accomplish the boost you must be producing@350 rwhp with so little smoke!? Thanks Jim G.
