Thank You! Oo.

A Special Thank You To Straight 6 Jeff for straight piping my Truck! :) He utilized his own Muffler/ resonator elimination kit which consisted of a single 3" 14 Gauge Pipe. It works great with No drone :D

Another Special Thank You for Big Daddy and Hey Boss Oo.

They helped install my DDII's and replace my Banjo Bolts in record time (1 1/2 hours I believe  ) It's great to have guys like you around to help the rest of us out.

It was a Great wrench day. I believe in Total we Killed 4 Pins, installed 2 Governor Spring kits, 2 Banjo bolt kits, 2 Comps, 2 sets of injectors, installed a Blue Chip FMS Wizard Box, and fixed an Espar Heater. Alot of work was accomplished on this day!

Oh and My injectors did'nt give me any extra horesepower.

I Think it was the Red Cummins Valve cover that did it. ;)

Hey MacTruck

That was some ride on the way home! If you didn't have a windshield, you'd have had bugs stuck between your teeth. It really goes!!! :D

... . you gotta get a CB. Did I read your hand signals correctly that your transmission was holding up okay under all that power? It took me a while, but I recalled that you turned your EZ down a notch before we left. That might explain a few things... . like how I kept up with you at all.

And is it true you don't need an EZ-Pass if you already have an Edge-EZ?

SPECIAL THANKS! To Scott, Joe, and Fred for all their help. We'd have done another set of gauges if I had had all the parts. As it was, I think we may have solved a problem that has been nagging me all winter, getting that Espar to run when the tank is less than half full.

Did Spence get his gauges installed? I didn't get to say much more than 'hello' to Jim. How did he make out?

And what was the final outcome of the FMS install?

Fred: tell me more about the remote start, I think I want both it and the Espar--I'm jealous of the guys that have it!!!

Everyone did a great job! Now let's get on Batman for the pictures :-laf

Raffle Winners: (toot toot ta-toot!!) First prize, a 14 piece set of short Snap on wrenches went to Rottndogue. Second prize, a 9 piece set, went to none other than Mrs. Batman. Mrs. MASSDIESEL did the actual drawing and we made sure she couldn't see the ticks, so don't get any ideas that it was a fixed contest! Thanks to all for participating, we made $170 to be put towards club business. Special thanks to BigDaddy for donating the magically appearing tools! (may they continue to appear as needed, under their owner's fingertips)

Item for club business: The ladies have suggested an outhouse might be an excellent aquisition for future events. Does the club need a privy? I'd like to point out that the lady folk put up with us on a pretty regular basis and they realistically get about five votes to our one, give or take. It might be a very good idea!

Matt

Sounds like I missed a good time. I ended up having to work because a co-worker got suspended for reading a magazine on the job. :D

I'll be at the next Dyno Day/Wrench day.

Since I missed a good wrench day do we have another event planned?

The skiing in Vermont was non existent. They had as much snow as we do here!!!

It was a great weekend none the less.

Thank you all!!!

THANK YOU!!!!! Matt (dabomb), John (dowel pin killer) you guys are the best!!! I had a fun ride home (No speeding tickets). My transmission has no shudder now,I think the 100 mph burst worked the bugs out!!!! Break-in those 315 / 75 procomps loose from the ground gets a lot of looks not to mention the cool smoke I now emit. I can’t wait to get together again. I think some 370s are in the future! Matt tell your little girl thanks for the patience she is a good sport don’t let her go.

See ya all soon,

Micah Gummel

P. S. Scott thank you for the use of the shop you daman!

Oo. :D :D Oo.

HUGE thanks to the guys/gals responsible for making this day happen... . George, Fred, Jeff, Scott, Matt (my elder), and everyone else I can't think of right now.....

From the 12-valve perspective it was a good day..... 4 KDP's were jigged up CPFF style..... went very smooth and relatively painless for all involved. 2 of Piers GSK's and AFC spring kits were installed and happy faces were the end result.

Gummel, thanks for the kind words *tear in eye*... ...

I guess my GF had every right to get a bit upset with me..... 13 hours of diesel bliss isn't really her cup of chai. She is a good sport, but I think the soot finally got to her and she cracked... . all is well... . I promised not to make her attend..... after talking to her, it really was painfully boring to her..... NOT to me.

I felt bad for leaving abruptly like that... . next time... . I'm staying for the full pull to help cleanup and I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER-chat... .

Thanks again guys/gals!!

Matt "da BOMB"

Wheaties

Heck I was wondering who it was:confused: Now that's a handleOo. What a day although the weather wasn't too cooperative we still accomplished a lot. Kevin and Matt-Wheaties, you're welcome. Kevin you forgot to mention we also did an Ez install in MarkF's truck, that's right that's what happens when you let someone try your stuff:{ , I lost my Ez and that ride home took a little longer, I guess it's time for a comp. Oo.

Massdiesel once again thanks for the great time and the use of your shop. Also special thanks goes out to bi*** I mean Batman and Wheaties for their effort for putting all of this together. Meet some new faces and had a ball.

Thanks to all and see ya next time, if not sooner.

Fred.

PS, Matt once I know a little more for the remote starters for manual transmissions I'll let you know.

WHERE DO I START?

OK 1st Thanks to Mass Diesel for the Use of his shop, Scott without you none of this would have taken place.

Next J Rowe, John You are the Man when it comes to Killing the Dreaded Dowl Pin... 4 in 5 Hours, including Moving trucks in and out, and everybody taking a turn with the wrenches. Not to mention the two broken Puke hoses, and gaskets checks :D Oh yeah and my new Gator Back serp belt too. Thank you John that is one job I would have never done on my own. And to those that were supposed to come to Kill the Dowl Pin but didn't make it, man you missed out.

Before I forget CPFF that Jig is amazing!!!!! Wow can't imagine doing the fix without it.

Last but definitely not least to HoleshotHolset, Matt not only helped out with everyone's Dowl Pins, but basically did all... OK he did ALL the work in changing my Governor Springs, and AFC Springs, but he did let me Watch  and much to Matt's Beautiful Girlfriend's delight, Matt Stayed till the last bolt was tightened... . Matt because of you I drove home like this. . :D Thank you I owe ya a Beer or 12 ... .

Oh shoot I almost forgot... Bitc ah I mean Batman, Thanks George for saying the 1st ticket pulled in the Raffle was the big winner. .

Had a great time, it was very cool how everyone was there to help, and the use of the shop, seeing everyone again... . Great get together... . Can't wait to do it again.

Darren

Glad I was there

Hi guys, I am very glad I was at Massdiesels on 3/16. I enjoyed myself greatly and met some very nice folks. Darren, Micah and others, thanks for the kind words. Massdiesel and Batman, thanks for the use of the shop and the coordination of everything.

CPFF, thanks for the jig invention. So far this jig has killed six pins. At wrench day we averaged one hour and ten minutes on each truck for the actual process. One was a little longer due to plow pump and bracket removal. I have been in touch with eGarwood as to where to send the jig next. Will advise him by post when it is sent.

Glad everyone had as great a time as I did.

Best regards, John

hey boss!!!!!

fred--let us all know about those remotes for the manuals.....

and thanks to batman for doing my comp install for me... ... above and beyond the call for such an EZ task.....

Hey Heyboss!

You got an EZ installed when no one was looking? You sneak! Next thing you know, you'll be putting EZ's on trucks and not telling the driver!! You're EZ is gone? ... Comp in the forecast? Injectors are sure to follow. .

I forgot to thank Tim Dews for his help with the Espar repair. Now to call about that oil leak on Monday... .

It was great to see everyone!

Well... ... ... . it's Monday morning and here I sit at work:{

First, I would like to thank MASSDIESEL for the use of his shop. Scott went way above the call to give me keys to his shop so I caould open for everyone.

Guys, thanks for the kind words, glad I could be of assistance to those that needed it.

JROWE, HoleshotHolset, Bigdaddy, HEYBOSS, TDEWS, Straight6Jeff, special thanks to you guys for helping everyone out and doing a great job.

Alot of work got done for alot of people. There was still some that didn't get in, but that will happen another time soon.

Wheaties... ... ... ... ... . hmm, I like it, better than the one that was donated to me earlier that day. :(

Toolman, very nice time talking with you, thanks for showing the videos. Hopefully we can have a get together for everyog with the main point being to discuss the club.

Bigdaddy & Heyboss, thanks for your help with the fuel PSI check. Thought my problem corrected itself:{ wishful thinking, I was riding a bucking bronco on the way home... ... ..... chugging like a freight train. :(

On a sour note:{ , I wish everyone would have rememberd not to tear out of Massdiesel's parking lot... ... ... ... ..... Dave (the cop) wasn't too happy! Next time, let's all try to be a little more courteous... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . at least for a half-mile, then tear it up.

Look forward to seeing everyone again at the next show.

Everyone be safe... ... ... and keep the shiny side up

George

It was a great time. Thanks to Scott for the use of his shop and Donna for the Soda/water/Scott drop off. Oh yeah, anyone who goes there, watch out fo rthe burn barrel. It has a habit of showing up in the strangest places. Like where it's been for the past tow months. Yup, I still hit it.

Kevin, that's great that there is no drone. So, how does Nicole like it? Doing hers when???? It is actually 12 ga tubing, with 7/16 hanger rod.

TNTWAY, where did you get those stuttertone horns. Gotta have a set of those!

Well, I'm not gonna make this an acadamy awasrd speech, so later.

Hey, what should we do next?

Guys what do you want to do next? Have a dyno day/club meeting so that we can check the Hp on those new injectors/boxes/governor springs/valve covers and uh,... . discuss club business? Does anyone have other ideas? Suggestions? What do you think?

Wheaties

To keep it simple: DITTO on the thanks to Scott and the rest of the crew.

Fred, pleasure doing business with ya. Kepth the EZ set on 3 and grinned from ear to ear on the ride home. :D That thing kicks A$$, the highway performance blew me away:--) My wife drove the truck last night and loved it, she drives the thing like a race car anyways, but loved the new found throttle response. Now if I can just get her to drive with a loaded trailer... .

Next: Guages, Scotts DTT magic, and injectors. In that order.

See y'all next trip, I'm off to FL in the Dodge trying not to get a ticket on the way :D :D

Thanks again all

Mark
