New exhaust and high intake air system??

Just got a "05 2500 Quad Cab, Long Bed Cummins and love it! My dad said that a new exhaust and high intake air system would really open it up and let her breathe. Question: Will I have adjust any other part of the fuel system or make any other changes besides just installation? Also will I get better mileage?

Geez, no one answered! Is it still under warranty? A bigger exhaust is not needed, as it has 4" already which is pretty good sized. An aftermarket filter is a good idea. Mileage may go up, power may go up a bit.

Your Dad is right it will help it's breath!! Gte one of the MBRP MK96116 or AFE Tom Kat Kits that replaces the muffler and an AFE intake and you'll feel a difference, plus you might get MPG as well. No other parst ar erequired, but trust me if you read here much you'll be wanting some more toys!!! Leave now or you're on your own!! If you have questions just ask!
