O. K. guys what do I do now? I just put 4" from my resonator back and have an awful drone from 1850-2050 rpm. It is VERY annoying, I thought the resonator would prevent this but apparently I am wrong. I was able to get the walker 54150 tailpipe, used 2' of pipe to replace muffler and have a 5" tip. I welded bolts to the factory hangers and welded the bolts to the pipe. Anything I should do or look for that could cause this?

P. S. this is my first mod to this truck and it really bothers me that I made it unpleasant to drive my new truck, I really need to get this taken care of quick. Thanks for any and all suggestions,

Matt

Two basic ways to address this: either "remove" the resonance with another resonator or small muffler or stiffen the exhaust pipe itself with band clamps or angle iron, etc. Try a search on drone or resonanation, resonance.
