Need to replace my "shrinking" exhaust manifold before it does a lot more damage than just leak. Does anyone out there have a preference, ATS or BD?

I have the ATS. I've heard the ATS manifold flows better. I spent several hours porting mine. The casting was very poor. It was very rough and had pockets of extra material in the corners. I would spend the time to clean up whichever one you decide to go with. I instantly noticed my turbo spooling up quicker. Good luck.

I also have the ATS, although I'm kinda disappointed with it. Out of the box it didn't fit right, not all the bolt holes lined up properly. Also, it has a ceramic coating for a "lasting finish," but mine started rusting after a couple of months. As far as performance gains go, I can't really say because I installed mine at the same time I did my first set of injectors.

I also did the ATS manifold about a year ago. Here was the post. ATS manifold

I'm still happy with it, it still looks good and all bolts have stayed in place.

Thanks for all the info guys. I ordered new manifold from Diesel Power Source today. It's about a C note less $$ than the ATS or BD units. Price included shipping. Of course I forgot to ask if it has the mounting boss for the cooling line support bracket. Not sure if the other brands do or don't. I'll let everyone know how the project goes.

I have one of both the BD and ATS. I preffer the ATS. And also heard it flows better.

Make sure the PDS one is what you think it is. I have no experience with them but sometimes you get what you pay for. Just make sure you dont regret the choice in a year from now.
