2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission New Exhaust too loud

I replaced the stock with a 4" exuast with a 5" tip with muffler and eliminated the cat-converter by Silverline. And installed a AFE intake system. Now I have a super loud low vibrating rumble in the cab at take off. There seems to be less bottom and more top end and better performance as the TC locks in but I hate the noise. Was I to expect this or is there a problem?

Doesn't sound like a problem to me. With the power comes the awesome deep tone of the cummins! Also you might want to add a signiture with what your truck is and what kinds of mods you have so people can help you better. Good luck!

Was that a catalytic coverter you removed or was it a resonator? The resonator breaks up exhaust pulses that are mostly annoying.

Turn up the radio. You'll get used to it, or install a resonator.
