New exhaust

I need a opinion on some exhaust's ,I'm looking at the jannetty 3 inch systembecause of the price but also I would like to not sacrifice the performance by going to small on the exhaust size so I guess what I'm asking with the mods I have does it seem like a 4 inch would be required. Right now the truck is straight piped with a dump right behind the cab,the pipe where the flange and the d/p are cracked so I figure it's time to just replace it. When I did have full exhaust on it the egt ran about 650 at cruise about 850-900 when I got into it,I also am towing a little bit more so I am kinda concerned with egt. thank's for the replies

www.bigexhaust.com has reasonable 4" kits. ~$380 I believe. 3"dp, 4"back.

I bought a 4 inch system from Janetty. He doesn't advertise one, but when I asked he put one together for me. It uses a 3 inch downpipe, then 4 inch for the rest.

It fit "ok". It's quiet with the muffler (too many noise natzis in CT), but had enough pipe to go without one.

I like the tone of the RIP system better though and would probably go that way if I had to do it over.

I saw some pretty good power gains by going to 4 inch as well as faster spoolup and turbo cool down.

Where ever you buy it... go 4 inch.

I ended up buying a Gibson exhaust,suppose to be 4 inch from down pipe back,hopefully spool up is as good as my straight pipe. How much was the janetty if you don't mind me ask'in jay,I was considering their exhaust but when I saw only 3 inch I decided against it. Thank's for the help guy's Joe

It was $450..... about the same as Rip's system... I went with Janetty's because he is local to me (15 min ride from work. . a lunchtime run) and I could save on the shipping and time. He bought the parts someplace, he did not fab it. The muffler was Allied, that's all I remember.

What I did was e-mail him and said I want a 4 inch system but you don't advertise one... what can you do? He replied an hour later with a price for what I wanted.
