Thanks for the comments guys. I got my flares through AZTrucks. Com I paid $449 W/Paint. As for the brand, they are ATS Design Flares. The tonneau is a Extang RT Roll up (I love the low profile look of it) and I got it for a birthday present it was however purchased through Summitracing. Com and was $369. I also added the Mopar flat mud-flaps for $35. Over all I'm pretty happy the the new look.

The price of the flares is not bad at all. You say "with paint"? They come shipped painted, or do they include paint? What are they made from? How are they mounted? Any drilling required. Sorry for all the questions, but I am interested.

Thanks.

When I say with paint I meant they were painted by ATS Designs. They are made from eurathane. As for mounting they are mounted with 2 sided tape push pins and trim screws ( only six holes to drill in the top of the rear under fender). They are a little time consuming and it helps to have an extra set of hands as they are easier to line up this way. From start to finish it took about three hours and that was with a lunch break. The hardest part was applying the tape to the flares since they had come in rolls since they had to be painted. Let me know if you have any more questions I'm happy to answer them for you guys out there.

Do you have to move the Cummins emblem? Was there any interferance with the other trim? Thanks.

I wonder how these compare with Bushwacker X-tend-a-fenders?

I had the Bushwacker Extend-A-Fender on for about two weeks. They just did not look right with the stock rims and no tire offset outside the fender. The way they mount they do not have anything to hold them tight against the fender. They just press against the fender. This eventually will rub the paint off where they meet the fender. They have been long gone. Here is a couple of pics, not the best but some idea.

JVolpe,

Those flares look good on your truck, but let me understand you took them off because they couldn't be attached firmly? Are you using anythng now?

Does anyone know who makes the flares for the PowerWagon?

Thanks,

Martin

Silverram,

How do you like those cooper tires?

Price?

Thanks

I really like these new Coopers (33x12. 50R17 Discoverer ST) compared to the BFG's that I had before. They seem to be quieter and ride smoother and they balance a lot better than the BFG's. Cost you ask? They were $934 out the door with road hazard and lifetime rotation and balancing. I paid about $1100 for the BFG's.

Yes I had to remove the Cummins emblems. It took a little patience but with some fishing line (10#test) and some Xenit adhesive remover they came off and the paint cleaned up nicely.

Nice truck, wrong driveway.

There's one thing wrong with that truck: it's parked in the wrong driveway! It would look much better parked in mine! 'Course, I've got a good lookin' '03 already, but I sure like the looks of that silver. That's the color I wanted but left it up to she-who-feeds-me and she selected garnet red because the last car we had was silver. :{

Are those the molded flaps? If so I didn't know they would work with flares. If they are not the molded ones do you have a part number?

Your flares look real nice BTW and have me thinking about doing it but I have to use mud flaps as I just hate the added nicks and dirt without them.

# 82208962 "Black, front or rear, with raised Ram's Head logo; for use on 4X4 vehicles and 4X4 trucks without Dual Rear Wheels $14. 00 " This is from the Dodge accessory page, the mudflaps are flat but I like them they look even better in person.
