Nv5600
NV5600, cast iron case, reverse is right and forward.
The trans has an integral "bell housing" as opposed to the 5 speed which has a seperate bell housing. It involves various procedures to change it out, removal of: gear shift, drive shaft(s), slave cylinder, support transmission on trans jack (safest) slightly raise trans, remove trans mount, keeping the trans in position and supported, remove cross member, carefully remove transmission bolts, back trans out and then down, safely store trans out of the way, remove clutch cover bolts 3/4 turn at a time in a staggered pattern, remove bolts, becareful clutch tends to obey laws of gravity at this time, start removing F/W bolts, use a same size and pitch hardware store bolt with the head cut off as a guide/support pin for the F/W, F/W is heavy also obeys gravity very well.
This is a summary, not quite a bolt by bolt procedure, biggest issue is supporting transmission.
Why do you feel the F/W needs inspection/service/replacement? Whats the rest of the story?
