Beg to differ with what Switca (I'm not sure what you meant)? We tried hard to take everyone's thoughts and ideas into account when revising the guidelines. The majority of the guidelines have always been there. OO, not everyone using a handle falls into that category but have been quite a few cases that have. We're trying to make things better for all.
