Has anyone else with a 2001 or 2002 without the axle disconnect had a 4. 5" lift or higher done yet?

My lift is sitting at about 5 inch or a little more and I am having issues with the front drive shaft that is going to cause me to have a custom shaft made for the front end.

The rear is no problem but you can not get the angle out of the front.

Using the upper half of the stock shaft and making everything for the lower is going to be like $600.

This sucks.

Bill, good luck. I recently had a 5" tuff country taken off my ride (thank god). what a ... ... ..... well i'll just say it didn't work out well. front drive always clattered but was told it'll be fine. not even one winter later had to have c. v. joint replaced $240. But the real problem was the rear drive shaft, acually the carrier bearing assembly for the 2-piece shaft as i have a long box, had shaft re-balanced twice and bearing replaced 3-times in less than one year at MY expence, EXTREMELY aggrevating to be on the side of the road cuase the bearing "pop's" out. also a point of concern is the drag link bolt which sheared off on mine while turning into a subdivision. have it welded to the stock bracket(and bolted). I ran skyjacker products for years on other vehicles and always had gooood luck with them, i tied brand "X" my bad. good luck. LATER
