New Fuel Filters

Some where on here I caught part of a conversation about the new 2010 having a new fuel filter system on it and can be added to older trucks. Can someone clarify for me what this involves and cost. Does it have a clear sight glass on it. All this talk about contaminated fuel is scary.

The 2010 trucks do have a new filter. I do not recall seeing a sight glass at all though.

Not sure if you can retrofit it to an earlier truck.

I highly recommend the AirDog. Mine has 430,000 miles on it with zero issues. The Fleetguard replacement filters are inexpensive and you can get down to 2 micron with it. Another added benefit is the water separator and filter can be changed at different times if needed.
