Well I have been watching my fuel pressure. I never knew what it should have been only had the gauges for about 6 weeks.

I had 10 psi at idle and 8 psi at 70 mph:( no load.

On ocassion the pressure would drop to 6 psi on the highway:mad:

This weekend I installed a Product Engineering PE4100 fuel pump. I also installed thier PE1050 dual relay wiring harness.

I cut the fule line near the tank and used a tubing sleeve and tubing nut to convert to braided stainless steel fuel line. Now I have the BSS line to the pump, from the pump to the filter and from the filter to the injector pump.

I never liked banjo fittings they just seem like they would cause a restriction, fuel changing directions to many times. Also the stock fuel line from the filter to the injector pump looked alfully small. Biggers better right?

I wired the relays to the stock lift pump wire so the new pump will run under the same restraints as the stock unit.

Fired it up and oh boy:) :) 15 psi at idle, 14 psi at 70 mph. Empty I haven't gotten the psi to drop below 12 psi. When I first started it up the psi was a little lower but after about a 10 mile test drive the pressure was up.

I scanned some pictures in but I will need some advice on how to post them.

Way to go Craig ! Mines doing fine, hope it lasts for both of us. If you don't have personal website, post the pics. in the readers rigs area and link them to this post.
