Does anyone out there know what us older truck owners are going to do about the new ultra-low sulfur fuels?

Any advice would be great.

We've had ULSD out here for over a year. I haven't had any fuel related problems yet, however I do use a fuel additive.....

Im thinking about trying 2 stroke oil in my real old trucks .

i rebuild the real old 30's and 40's cummins single disc pumps my plan is to run

2 stroke oil in it as it with add more of a luberication to the fuel system

simular to the old diesel , unless you know were to find parafin to add to the system , or thinned down ship bunker fuel oil extreme measure would be

a few onces of gear oil , not synthetic stuff , or just plan engine oil or arf , but in the real old stuff 2 stroke is the plan quart to a 100 gals ,possibly more depending on results

That might help with lubrication for the pump but what can be done to address the shrinking of the oil seals caused by the new fuel? Many members have reported leaks after using the new fuel.

The only thing that i can think of is a seal conditioner

of some type , the object of the 2 stroke oil is to replace the sulfer and turn new fuel back to old fuel , or some one will have to come up with new type of seals , i got a couple of places that i can get seals and gaskets made to my specs , any one have a set of gaskets ill see what they can do

at least do a test of diffrent gasket and seal materials thats the key
