Quick note to let everyone know just how easy it is to dress up your truck with a new look. I had a chance to install my Nu Image gage faces this weekend and they were just as easy as Turbo Tim told me they would be. Nothing needed but a Philip's screwdriver and a 13mm socket and about an hour of your time. The automatics have two additional screws to remove from the back of the cluster, other then that they are the same. I have a '97 so I used the Nu Image kit BL112D for the dash and kit BC212 for the HVAC control panel. While it was all apart I also trashed my old wood dash kit for a carbon fiber dash kit from Crystalux, number R2020. Both are very well engineered and fit like OEM,just look better. Not everyone is going to like the same thing so both makers offer many different versions, bottom line is you'll find something that suits your style. If you do decide to go with one of the above mentioned kits, make sure you buy from a reputable dealer and make sure it fit a diesel, the dash kits are different.
I snapped a few pictures, and hope you like them? I do and so does the wife, I already did the carbon fiber thing on her ride.
I posted this on the 2nd gen forum, but thought there might be others that would like the info as well, good luck.
