I just finished putting in the new pyro and 60# boost gauges, of course with help from the wife.
I got them and the 2 gauge A pillar post from DPP. The gauges are the Autometer Ultralite series and so far I love them, Just scares me how high the EGTs are. Even at idle from cold it hovers a little over 300* preturbo. I just wanted to ask a quick question though. After I finished with the boost gauge, I started the truck to check for leaks and it spitted and sputtered a couple of time then ran fine, even drove it about 10 miles and no problems. Is this normal?
I also wanted to thank all of you for making this site so informative. I have never done anything like this before, but after doing searches and reading until my eyeballs were ready to fall out :-laf I knew I had what I needed to do it, please keep up the good work. Oh also put on MPC eliminator. That turbo sings now.
Thanks to all,
Mike
