Got my new Autometer Pro Comp Ultra-Lites installed this weekend. Installed a 35 psi boost and 0-1600* pyro on 2 gauge pillar. These are sweet gauges! They blend with the pillar and look cool.
Now for my questions.
When I nail the throttle in 5th and 6th gear, my boost gauge goes *WELL* beyond 35 psi. I tested it with an air compressor and regulator and it took 43 psi to make the gauge go that far
. Am I missing something here? I didn't think a K&N, BD 2's, and an EZ could push that! I'm impressed
.
Secondly, I installed my pyro post turbo mainly because I've seen what happens when a probe breaks pre-turbo (not a pretty sight). Under an extremely hard pull, I can only touch 825*. Again, very impressed.
Any comments, suggestions?
