Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting firearm vs. weapon

... . mmmm, man!!! She's a smart right better cook than I am!!! Some salt-rubbed pork butt, some good steaks, potato casserole, some oversmoked backstrap for day packs, a few green beans or corn, and mayyyyyyybeee a peach cobbler in the dutch oven..... 'bout all I am good for. Gets monotonous after a week!! I wish Asa had hired your wife to cook for us!!!

When we first got married and went hunting with her Dad running the outfitter gig. She and her sisters were worked like dogs (im not kidding) they did everything around camp from food to horse care. The men came in ate and told stories around the fire. I wouldn't have my wife take care of horses even if I didn't know I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER about it and she sure as Hell was not chopping fire wood. I started doing that and her Dad got PO ed about it. I told him that Lincoln made it wrong to treat people like that even if they were family. He kind of changed his mind and I was the best to her sisters and Mom. That's how come I take care of the animals and chop fire wood. As you can see there is not much chopping because we put some pretty BIG LOG'S on the fire. :-laf So in turn the girls took more of an interest in the food. Mine looked like it came out of a picture and her Dad's looked like the dog got sick and barfed on the plate. The girls eventually won and he kind of got over it.

Yeah, people don't understand. That extra care and effort really pays off. Just today, I had ordered some parts at the local tractor dealer for my hay baler, and they came in last week. I haven't had time to go to town, so they were going to send them back if I didn't come in and pay for them... . The parts manager's son used to have a Dodge pickup, and I fixed him up, trying to coach the little brat a little in the ways of the Force... . needless to say, my parts are still there. Anyone else's would have been sent back, but when you're the parts manager..... now, I don't want to milk that for more than I have to, so I have to run over there tomorrow and check 'em out/pay for 'em..... It's all related. The kid working for me now, he needed a good reference for his Eagle Scout Review board..... turns out, four of the 5 guys I know very well, for over 20 years, and "supposedly" they all hold my opinion in high regard. Not that he needs my opinion, he's a fine young man on his own, and I told them that in my reference letter. But, it all goes hand in hand. Turns out there are a lot of people this kid knows that I know, but he's just never asked them if they know me.....

And then this young fella, he'll be something some day, I do believe. I'm certainly glad to have him on my team. But, like I told him, I can't afford to keep him on forever. Someday, someone will pay top dollar for him, way more than I can afford. Right now, I've got him, as he wants a fast Cummins Dodge!! And he needs a cylinder head rebuilt!! No cheaper place to get that done than here, and I'll let him work it out!! And he gets perqs... . I gave him 20 rounds of ammo for his Nagant last week, and let him shoot turtles with it this week, snakes last month, and a hog. He's living the life!! And I have a good helper, and a great friend!! It's all related..... :D

When I was on my little overnight trip that turned into 5 days out I wished I had something like this to shoot so I could EAT the other picture. MRE's are not bad but the bird would have been a spirit boost. SO I BOUGHT ONE. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME JULY 6 Not to early IS IT??:-laf... ... ... Henry Survival Rifle.

I was just looking at that in the henry catalog... . I also like that the mares leg rifle in the bigger cartridge..... :)

This is the first time that I have dealt with this company. I have a few Bud's in Ca that are into Cowboy Action Shooting and love the guns that they have from the company. This one I bought is a great little tool and that's what it is to me. I have WAY TO MANY GUNS but none are like this it breaks down small and fills a REALLY BIG PURPOSE if it needs to. Good luck with your choice I for one dont think you can go wrong.
