Installing Air Lift Suspension on 3500 4x4

I finally joined after 3 years of owning a Dodge/Cummins. What a bunch of diesel gearheads - it's great! Need to pick someone's brain. Been wanting to turn up the wick on my 24v, but not sure which way to go first. I'm not interested in making my dually into a hot rod - already got enough of those - but would like to turn up the power so I can tow my toys mo better. I tow a 38ft gooseneck weighing around 12000# and would like to be able to set her on about 70-75 and roll on without having it drop off on long uphill grades or big hills ( I do have 4. 10 gears). I have looked into a Bank's setup but have noticed that many of you don't seem to hold much stock in them. What do you think? Also, I know the weak link is my auto trans and with 98k on it, I'm beginning to get a little concerned. Is it worth a VB and Converter with this many miles? I'm not looking to BOMB the crap out of this truck as I'm waiting to see if DC is going to give us a crew cab next year. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

14,000 lbs is beyond the rated capacity of the truck. I am surprised the transmission held up that long.

However, to answer your question about trans, contact Bill K at DTT. I love mine. For engine upgrades, I did a lot of research. In my opinion, Diesel Dynamics (www.dieseldynamics.com)has the best setup. Don't confuse a large TDR advertising budget with a quality product or technological edge.

Love the Bank's setup. #ad
The Otto mind comp Will not let the egt's go above 1300. I have only seen with the guage 1300 exactly going up (what ford motorcompany in 1940 called the testing ground) Sport hill road which is steep enough to keep it in seccond with 12 bats of 5/8 sheetrock + 16 foot toolbox ... I mean trailer. WELCOME ABOARD! #ad
