Oh brother, here we go again. I may need to start a new thread to avoid hijscking this one... .....
#1. So there IS a way to check the line pressure? How and where? I have a 90 FSM that covers the 727 auto behind the CTD, and it has the 518, but for gasser apps. Shop here in town
said there was no way to check line pressure- has no tap for the sensor. Will an oil pressure gauge work for this?
#2. If you can test it on the truck, where do I plug in the tester, and what are the pressure ranges? Mom's has some terrible slippage at light throttle; fortunately, it doesnt see much light throttle from either of us (though she'll tell you different- she starts hers out MUCH faster than I do mine).
Good point about after initial start up; hadnt given it much thought.
