I replaced mine in 2012 with the ones from Geno's. When I did it, I covered them with the XLEP film. I could send a picture today, but you wouldn't notice any difference! I am very pleased with both the headlights, and the film, no yellowing at all.
Yes, they came with the turn signal side of the lights as well.

No, they were completely drop in. I put them on an alignment machine not long after and no adjustment was necessary.

Not to hijack the thread but does anyone have a better way to align the headlights with that top adjustment screw which apparently isnt accessible unless you remove the headlight... Seems like a counterproductive way for alignment.

When I had my 98.5 24v Geno's offered a 3M film product custom cut. I sold the truck seven yrs later and no cataracts. The truck was parked in San Diego with 266 days of sunshine average. Some OEM's come up on CR here sometimes. A couple were literally like new. I bought CCP knockouts for our Honda Pilot. We'll see.

I need new headlights on the '01. Does anyone have a good source for OEM replacements that look exactly the same without the annoying blue LED look? Do the blinkers come with them?

How easy are they to replace?

did anyone ever come up with a decent solution besides the cheap Chinese junk from the aftermarket parts? I’m on my 4th set in 5 Years

The China part don’t really bother me they can make parts to any spec the buyer pays for the problem is all i can find Is cheap junk

You're overlooking the point...
1) China notoriously manufactures junk no matter if they're following specs or not. Its just the nature of the beast. And China is also notorious for stealing the product designs they contract to manufacture and then market against their own contract. Thats the risk American companies take by having their products manufactured over there.
And 2) Because of the COVID "crisis", products made in China are getting harder to come by which means you'll have a harder time finding what you're looking for since pretty much 100% of everything in America comes from China. So you're option are very limited and becoming even more limited as time goes on.

Do not use Deet, it is for bugs and will soften the plastic and destroy your lights over time. If anything use a compound to remove yellowing. There are a lot of videos showing how to wet sand and apply 2k clear.

I guess I’ll just keep replacing them every year change the headlights twice the oil once . Really hate sending genos another 160$ but that’s my options it looks like

I cant remember who said it or where I read it but I thought Geno's carries a protective film material that you cover the plastic headlights with. Its supposed to prevent the yellowing. Maybe this will help you out.

That would be at the top of the 2nd page of this thread. I got the XPEL film from LMC truck, but you can get it directly from XPEL as well. No yellowing for the last 7 years.

I bought a set from DAP a year or so ago... They work OK but I cant seem to get them adjusted for nothing and the beam pattern seems to be different for each side.
That said, it would be worlds easier to adjust them but that top third adjuster screw is not accessible unless you take the entire light assembly out. STUPID DESIGN...!!!
