I also have had the surging going on also and have not been posting till I gave paul a chance to fix it. When I had the HTB2 it worked great no trouble with surging, again it worked great just not enough cooling going on for my truck. Then I changed it out for a KillerB2 and it surged from day one. I was unable to build more then 20 psi of boost with out being over 2200 rpm. Once over 2500 rpm I was able to push it to 40 psi of boost without any trouble or surging. Egt were great as was the power. The only thing I didn't like with the KillerB2 was the turbo would bark with just a slight lift of the fuel pedal when making lots of boost. Changed the exhaust housing to a 12cm from the 14cm. Surging pretty much went away but only had 30psi of boost and had high egt. Took the turbo off again and set it to 40 psi of boost. I now have the surging AGAIN this time it starts at 30psi of boost if rpm is below 2200 rpm. It still dosn't spool as great as the HTB2 but it's much better then the 14 cm housing that came on it. If l pull my air filter off tomarrow and that fixes it. what do I need to build?
lmills can you describe what you built a little better for me.
As a side note, out of the 3 different configation I have tried If I can get rid of the surging I fill like I will like this set up the best. It cools very well and spools very well for this large of a turbo. Only time will tell and only if I can get rid of the surging. I will keep you guys posted
