According to the Dodge website, the rebates just went up to $2500. 00 as of 10-01-2003 on the 03 and 04 trucks. They indicate that it will last until 01-01-2004

Did I mis-read the information, or it is it true. My truck is due to ship 10-2-03 so it will be perfect timing for me, and everyone else awaiting there new BABY.

I just looked at the site and you are correct. Thats good. They said mine still shows D1 status as of today but it should make it.

Here in Cheyenne, the rebates on the 03's went to $4500 from $2500. Now I'm looking again. Add Farm Bureau or commercial on top of that and it just may be affordable.

Yes Wyosteve the rebates are $4500 for the 2003s until Jan. '04, $2500 off for the 2004s. Same goes for my area too.

Guess I shoulda waited! I'm happy with my '03 though I bought in March with $3500 off counting FB rebate :)

Vaughn

It's bad enough not to get the full $4500 on the '03, I got the $2500 rebate, but the resale value also instantly drops $2000 on '03 trucks.

Here they are advertising 7000-8000 off on 03 in stock, for me it doesn't matter, i wouldn't want one for half price.

y-knot :

I know what your saying, I miss my 12v. But just think of all the stuff you could be putting on a new one!

Stick

Not at all interested, When dodge comes out with a true crew cab, or when ford switches to cummins, then I'll be ready. Till then there is nothing that could get me away from my 12V, It is paid for and I am loving it.

Don't forget guys, they usally increase the price some in the past. example: a $ 500 rebate is more like a $300 rebate. but anything helps... I traded my 03 last month for a new one for . 15 per-mile, sure hold there value well. .

"When dodge comes out with a true crew cab"

If Dodge would have come out with one of those TownCar type pickup trucks, I would have kept my '01. 5 quad cab. As it is they already look too long. Why not just buy a city bus? That way you'll have room for everyone!:p

Compromises, compromises!

The wheelbase of the 2003 is about 5" longer than the 2002, but turning circles are a bit better on the 2003. The rear seat area is better on the '03 but still much less than the Ford. I think the compromise is valid--maximize the back seat while keeping overall length and turning circle similar. The 1997 with club cab and long bed is about all that I can maneuver on powerline roads and mountain trails here in Nevada. I usually fill the bed when hunting, wish it had back doors, and wish it were quieter to minimize spooking the animals.

I love poor old Sickly and he does make almost enough horsepower. ;) Yet, the sweet song of the new truck is beckoning, and I may not be able to resist much longer with the $4500 rebate.

The 2003-4 have some mechanical advances that are hard to resist, look nice, ride well... awww, darn, can't I keep the 1997 and have a new one too?:{

Now where was that brochure? Oo.

Joe your gonna get one. So just do it and get on with life. What color you goona get. I ordered me a 04 on 9-3 so I got some more wait time. :(

Does the rebate...

Apply in addition to their special financing options? Or is it one or the other (special financing rate or rebate)?
