Anyone here any rumors as to what the incentives will be come April 1? It would be nice if DCX would match the $1000 owner loyalty rebate and keep the good financing.

Well I was able to finally pick my truck up Friday night. Everything really came together for me. This weekend my credit union ran a 3. 9% financing special. I got the $2000 rebate and another $500 Farm Bureau. But most of all, the night before I went to get my truck I had a message on my machine from the VP of Chrysler, Jim Young, (prerecorded) announcing a 3-day "March Madness Bonus Cash" of another $1000 off on top of everything else. From what I understand this only went out to a total of 400,000 people who had bought a Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler between 1996 & 2001. So basically 1 out of 10 people I guess. So altogether I made out with $3500 off and 3. 9% financing.

Took it in the shorts on the trade though, only $16,000 for a nice '01 shortbed 4x2.

Congrats Vaughn!

I too was able to get the extra $1000... total $3500 rebate on Friday!

Glad to hear you worked things out and have your new rig.

Not even Dodge dealers know what the programs will be until tomorrow when they pull them off of the computer.

If they are like every other corporate marketing department that I know of, the DC marketing department will not have them finalized until late this evening.

Right on Ken, you lucked out too :)

But now that we just bought ours the incentives will probably hit $4000 in April ;)

I had the same situation where I was always finding out the incentives before the dealers did

Well, as of this time the Dodge site has NO incentives listed. Maybe, by the weekend they will update again. At least I "locked" mine in with the $ down on the order.

Interesting that some got this call and others didn't (maybe because mine is ordered?). Sure could use some more incentives to get me to buy :D:D! More BOMB money would be good (or is it ALWAYS gud?).

Our zone did give the new option of $2000 or 0%@36mo. 3. 9%@48mo or 4. 9%@60months. Your best options is to take the rebate up front. Still dealing very, very close to invoice. Greg Thiessen Fleet Manager. -- email address removed --

Wonder how Dodge chooses who gets the extra bonus incentives like the one last weekend. I've never heard from them and I'm on my 5th Dodge w/ Cummins. If I would have got the extra $1000, I'd get an 03, but without that I will keep the one I've got.

The extra rebate they offered which was called March Madness was like a lottery pick from any previous owners between 97-01. If you were called you qualified for the extra 1k. There were 400,000 people put on the lottery galley list. I hope Dodge will come up with another program like this for April. It sure does help the consumer. Greg:cool:

Anyone know what the "incentives" etc are from being a member of the Team Dodge club (joined today under the "old" vin#)? Will get pkg in about 2 wks she said. Might have rebates? Might have discounts for accessories?

The additional $1000 I got was very timely. It really helped take some of the shock out of the rough deal I had on my trade last week, after marching out of the dealership when I tried to pick up my new truck. It really made my day to come home and have that on my machine the next day. It was a good thing I marched outa there 'cause I would've missed out on the additional incentive.

I don't know how many Chrysler product buyers there were between 1997 and 2001, but I'm sure the odds were 10:1 or worse, and then to have it happen at just the right time.

So far, this area has $1500 or the financing. GM just launched a 0% for 60 months program here, and if I understand correctly you can still get the "loyalty" cash with the financing.

What does that article say about DC responding to other makers incentives?

I can only hope!

OK, asking agn if anyone know if being a member of TEAM DODGE gets any discounts on anything (accs, new vech or ??)

Vaughn, Im glad it all came together for you. I dont think you took it in the shorts at all,the 2nd gen CTD's are dropping in value real fast now that the 03;s are out. That price is right in line ,considering the miles, and the fact that its an 01. They did right by you. They will likely make less than a 1000 on it.

I am a Team Dodge member too, have been for about a year now. I have never seen anything in the materials about vehicle purchase incentives for being a member, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. I did get a cool umbrella and a set of binoculars for joining though... :D
