I borrowed a similar one from a buddy... it was ok, but I could not use it on #6, just too tight back there.

I don't ask to borrow it anymore... it just didn't work that well for me. If you have a torque wrench with a very small head, it may be fine...

I have that tool too, and it works great. Especially good for getting the lines off the pump when doing an injection pump change. Also, I have found it to be great for #6 along with a short 19mm open-end wrench.

Where have I seen that tool before Rob? lol Rob is correct, you can only use it at cylinder #6 as the configuration of the injector lines at #1 through #5 preclude its use.

I'll bet that thing costs 80 bucks. I used a Craftsman 19mm crow's foot and a 19mm box wrench on my injector lines. No problems encountered.

John Berger... thats what I use... a friend has an offset open end wrench that works great.

John... hmmm... where have I seen that???:D :D

Also, unless you have a very small head on your torque wrench, that tool will not work on number six injector line. It will not fit properly, due to hitting the firewall.

Evan... it appears that you are following me around and saying the opposite as me again. Please stop before this escalates again.

Different opinions are always welcome and expected. As I recall, I mentioned the torque wrench, and further recollection is that you do not torque these injector lines, just use the "feel" method. I am not saying there is anything wrong with that, I have done it, too, but don't try to correct me on things you don't do.

A 3/8" sq. dr. Snap-On torque wrench will work with this socket at the #6 injector location.

Regarding the price of this socket...:eek:... well, in chrome it was $52. + tax.:eek:

Hey, Snap-On dealers have kids to send to college too. :p

..... watch it Rob. . I'm stalking you. :p:D

A 3/4 inch socket is 19. 05 MM. Think I'll just cut a 3/4 inch socket down and save 50. 00. Grinders and belt sanders are nice and do fast work.
