Just got my jammer stage 1 injectors installed and took it for a test drive. Can you say smoke on command! Now I think I have an EGT issue. I have a VA smartbox and I can only build 25psi, before the injector swap I could build 24psi. Now EGT's will shoot up to 1250 and keep climbing before I back out of it. I would think I could build more boost. Does all of this sound right?

Jammer 1's dont add THAT much fuel... you might see a 1-3 psi increase at most. With my DD3's I got around a 7-9 psi increase and that is way more fuel than your injectors and box combined. I would put a boost elbow on the turbo and set it for 34 psi and you will be happy.

I would order a J-hook & adjustable boost elbow [if you have a HX35]..... that will get your boost psi up. I'm not real familiar with the VA box, but a box that does boost fooling is a big help.

I would start at about 30lbs and gradually work from there till you get your EGTs under control. The smoke should clear up just a bit, but I wouldn't go over about 35lbs though.

The instructions for the boost elbow said it was preset to 35psi, guess not. I'll start adjusting until I get 30psi and then go from there. Leaving for Denver tomorrow should give me a good test drive for adjusting it. Thanks!
