I had new 60 hp bosch injectors put in this past Fri. Now when I am driving at 65 or above I get a surge feeling. Even with the cruise control on, it still feels as if someone is pushing on the pedal and then letting off. Also, its not all of the time. Any help would be great.

Thanks, Shannon

Shannon, it could be your truck was surging slightly before the injector install, and by installing them it amplified the problem to where it is more noticeable.

My '03 surges slightly, not enough to really notice but if you pay attention you can feel it. If I were to add injectors it would probably be more noticeable.

You might try a couple things, like unplugging and reconnecting some of your sensors such as the MAP & IAT, even the throttle one if you can reach it, or you might use some dielectric compound on the connectors. Might try disconnecting the batteries awhile then reconnecting them and going through the throttle pedal reprogram afterwards.

One of my beefs with electronically controlled engines is their oversensitivity to erroneous or noisy signals, which affects drivabity and smoothness.

With my 5 speed I can get it to surge real good by putting it in 3rd and letting the idle take over... . fast slow fast slow... . thats the only time I see it more power added more surge

SOME ONE I KNOW WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE BOASH R. VS WHERE DID YOU GET THEM AND HOW MUCH?

Come on ShannonPhillips cough it up. Pleeeeeeeease!

The injectors came from precision performance in Fairmount IN. I paid nothing for them, the dealership did. The price was 600. 00 for parts and 250. 00 labor.
