Hi and welcome the the general conservation forum.

I'm back from vacation

I had a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger, slant 6, 3 on the tree. That was a great car. Also had a 73 Scamp, same power and transmission.
And a 78 Volare slant 6 auto. Piece of crap.
I think the emissions crap cut in on the Volare. Under the hood it was a tangle of hoses. I think the pos lean burn carbs were in action.
I had a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger my folks laid on me. 318,2-door hardtop, vinyl roof. That thing freighted and got 21 mpg on the freeway even with my leadfooted youthful lunacy. I sold it to a friend whose wife totaled it a few months later and then divorced him.
What an idiot. That car would still be running fine to this day even with a Jasper rebuilt motor. The trans was bulletproof.
Just noticed I'd already posted. Senior moment(or moments anymore.)

With I was a teenager the family car was a 1962 VALIANT SIGNET with the 225 slant 6 auto with 3:73 gears. It was pretty quick!

Picture off the internet.
