Any Cummins QuickServer subscribers?

The last few series of sweepers have had Mercedes power, and before that had ISB power. It was my understanding that they went to Mercedes led by a stack of promises. I heard the engine was not doing too well and so here we are. 2008 models with QSB 6. 7 power. If I'm around for the first PM, I'll try to snap some pics. From what I see so far, it's red, has rear mounted accessories (QSB) and has the EGR plumbing across the front of the head but no batwing cover ;) Looks like it has a regular spin on fuel filter.

Yeah, Mercedes talked the talk, but couldn't walk the walk... The 900 series of engines are noisier than anything else on the market, have a poor build quality, extremely expensive parts and overall are a rather mediocre offering by the company that practically invented automotive diesels. Its too bad, I really wanted to like them, but they clatter worse than a 12 valve in winter, Injector lines leak constantly and they just generally need a LOT of constant stupid repairs. Their ONLY redeeming factor is an option for a true jake brake PLUS an exhaust brake retarder. Otherwise, throw away engines.
