KORE has launched their 2008 product line and it's impressive!!!

Check it out at:

KORE Unlimited Series Dodge Lift Kit

KORE Race Series Dodge Lift Kit

KORE Prerunner Series Dodge Lift Kit

The new RACE system is comprised of products that were all used on the previous Baja Race trucks... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... so, you really can Race with it.

Also, of note, the venerable Chase and Recon systems all come with steering dampers, AND end links at no extra charge.

For inquiring minds, pricing is posted for most of the systems.

Kore makes great stuff. I have a mix of Kore and Carli/Defiant upgrades. All works together and these companies stand behind their products with action... bigtime. Kent is great and so are the Cari/Defiant crew. I talked to Greg Boardman of DRC the day before he passed... he was great also. Noticed the DRC website makes no mention of him. Kind of sad.

I see the technical series has 5. 5 inches of lift. Could you PM me a price on that system? Just curious - Why don't you have the prices of all the kits on the website?

Doing some searching I found that the Technical kit is $4600 or so.

I really want a 6" lift, but I'm not sure I can swing that just for a lift. I think I'm going to go with the Chase again.

I had the original Chase with non-vr springs, billet shock towers and Bilstein 5100's. It performed well for me, and would buy Kore again.

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of turbo clearance when I installed a couple different S300 variants. Fortunately for me the newer system with the Fox shocks run the stock towers.

I guess that it all boils down to "you get what you pay for. "

I am confident that the Kore Technical system is far better than a Superlift or Fabtech setup. If I had the scratch I'd probably go with it...

Will the end links work with "older" systems? I have a 2. 5" Fox racing system, can I buy just the end link as an accessory? DO they make that much of a difference?

Thanks

When I did my KORE Leveling kit, I had planned to also do the rear springs at a later date. KORE offered the two separately at that time last year. I bought my leveling kit off Greg Boardman about a week before he was killed in the accident. He was going to work with me about the rear stuff. I have yet to persue the rear springs because Greg is no longer around to complete the deal. So, I am now looking at Carli, Lorentz, whomever to get the rear springs done. I did add the Bilsteins to the rear when I did the leveling, but now I would like to beef up the rear end some. I have the Firestone air bags, and I have been pleased with them, but they alone really are not the answer to the rear 'squat' that takes place in the springs. It's too bad KORE is only focusing on complete kits instead of offering things in steps. Ultimately they would be selling more if they did offer things for those who prefer the step process.

JCrockett - The end links will work on just about all the systems. They do make a different, especially under articulation. The allow the axle to move more smoothly without binding on the stock end links and bushings. They are also much beefier than the stock end links.

CDonaldson - It appears that you might have misunderstood the KORE product line. While it is always recommended to buy a complete system (you see more immediate improvement and benefit) you always have the option to add things on as time and money permit.

I also am interested in knowing the price of the technical system that gives 5. 5" of lift. Is this system really available yet? What is done to control driveline angle/vibration issues? Does it include a clocking ring for the transfer case? Does this kit provide an additional 5. 5" of usable travel? --Eric

Desert Proven.

I don't believe I misunderstood their products or product line options. I am more than aware of the 'build as you go' vrs buying complete 'kit'. As I stated, I discussed this process with Greg and did have plans to persue part 2 of what I started with the leveling kit, but my primary goal at that time was leveling. I really wanted to get used to the truck, work it some around the ranch, then go from there to whatever I felt I needed. Greg understood my thoughts/feelings, actually he respected them, said a lot of new Dodge/1st time owners pretty much were on the same wavelength.

I am just looking at/considering other options available to me via different manufacturers of the same/similar products. I may also include looking at the KORE springs or may not. Again, NO misunderstanding of their product line, just a broader sense of other product lines that have become available since I bought my truck, at that time KORE was basically the only stuff out there. Now there is a much broader market to choose from and a little competition goes a long way in pricing.

I am not sure WHO is handling KORE products, if anyone is close enough NOT to beat me up with shipping, Greg was the closest to me in New Mexico. I have yet to get back onto KORE's website and see who is my closest dealer for their products and get some prices.

Thanks for the info JDerbedrossian.

I have already checked out the Lorentz website, they have the mini packs. I was on Carli's site but did not see mini packs offered separately, just part of a system. Maybe they sell them separately and don't have them on their site info. ATS is the Carli dealer to my north, no Carli information on their site. They are also not listed separately on the KORE sit, just systems, I will have to contact them as well. I am not looking at the full leafs because they are all designed to soften the ride, when towing heavy loads it is too soft already. The mini packs will replace the single overload leaf with a better set of overload springs.

Cdonaldson, I'm glad it all makes sense. Perhaps I misunderstood your post. I'm guessing that Jeremy at DRC or Loren at Worthington Off Road would be the closest KORE dealers. All their contact info is listed on the KORE website.

I believe that KORE Mini packs would run you about $440.

Enafziger, The Technical series is $8950. It is available. I am not aware of any driveline vibration issues. Jeremy at DRC is running one on his truck. There was tons of R&D that went into making this one of the best riding systems out there.

Thanks for the reply... No doubt it is a top-of-the-line kit. I like the 6" lift/37" tire combo, but can't put out that kind of money for the technical kit. Thanks again! --Eric

why does the technical kit cost so much? i wonder must be those fancy bumpstops and limit straps. or maybe the pitman arm or 2. 0 shocks. come on guys, theres better, lower cost stuff out there

There are absolutely lower priced systems out there if you want to lift your truck 6 inches. However, I'd venture to say that most systems that ride that high, don't ride that well. As far as being better, I'm not sure which tall lift systems are "better". The Technical Series is considered by many to be one of the better riding systems out there.

As for cost, yes, it is a chunk of change, but it also includes a lot of components. The ones that were mentioned plus Billet Towers, Billet Control Arms, Full replacement leaf springs, new coils, etc. , etc.
