NEW LARAMIE package (no electronic 4x4)

for all those people out there that loved the laramie package and the leather, etc...



but hated the 4x4 on the dash, their is a new laramie "j" package



dodge took the laramie, and deleted:

6-disc cd

passenger power seat

electronic 4x4

dual sliders for a/c, heat



a few more things, but that the big stuff



price went down atleast 1400 or so, FWIW

Thanks for keeping us up to speed Tomeygun.

I was on the fence about ordering and wanted a Laramie ,but having to take that pushbutton 4wheel is not an option to those that can't afford to be stuck over a little mickey mouse gadget.

IMHO: That's great, but you also loose the dual-zone HVAC... . which is a big 'positive' the Laramie provided over a standard (or even loaded... ) SLT.

Do what people have been doing for years on end.



Summer AC Operations. If she is cold--have her close her vents. If that doesn't work..... buy her a blanket.



Winter Heater operations: If she is cold. Turn on the heat only on her side. If you get hot. Cranck your window. If she is still cold,,,,buy her a blanket.



Save $1400 and buy a blanket.

that is because the CPOS package "2UH - laramie, 2UG - slt" determines if stl or laramie, not the MODEL code - which is ussually like this - DR7H42 - means 2500 LB QC 4X4

Ah ok thanks. Always wondered about that. BTW, Tomeygun my next truck will be bought threw you. I figured out after doing some research i was lied to about my truck. . Long story. . But its something very serious. . At least i think. .

I would suggest the 12 volt model of blanket. It helps keep the complaints to a min. :-laf

How about the other way around, an SLT with dual climate controls, electric passenger seat, ect... but no leather???

That was my thougt. I don't want the leather, but like some of the other cool toys. Speaking of seats, the amount of in and under seat storage on these 3rd gens is fantastic.
