Last week I got my '97 3500 back from the paint shop, they did a great job removing all the nameplates body side moldings and decals before it was re-painted. While I still have not chosen a graphics package, I have been busy installing some of the pieces I removed prior to it's body work. Here are a few pictures of the new '04 style nameplates, I really liked the look. It looks different, yet familiar. I also like mounting them on the same plain where the old body side molding once was, it's is different and unique to this truck. Hope you like them.

Wow, very clean looking job! Nice choice of emblem on the tailgate esp. that 4x4 offroad one!!! i still would stick it to dodge with a lemon twist for the cost of the paint

Thanks to all, I am happy with the results and glade you liked it too.

The Trexus tires ride very, very smooth, and have NO noise. I bought them last fall when 4 Wheel Parts had there sale plus free freight weekend. I just installed them Friday, so I have no wear data yet. They are made of a very soft compound, so I fully expect them to wear faster then my BFG's. I don't go much so the wear isn't an issue, I am sure they will last me 5-6 years (summer tires). What was surprising was the nice ride, I thought from the shape of them they would be rougher and noisier then my BFG MT's. But I got a good surprise when I first tried them out, no wander, no thump'a dee thump, just smooth and quiet. I even have them at 65spi, front and back. I guess the true test will be when they get loaded down with my trailer, it's a little over 15,000lbs and the hitch weight is about 3400lbs. I'll have to let you know who that goes.

The truck is not finished yet, I still have several item to install, but it is getting closer every day. Good luck.

Yes, those rocker panels are about 5 years old. I must have been one of Jason's first customers at Northwest Customs. I liked them so I left them on when the truck was painted. They are really a great add-on, they wear well. Keeps the bottom of the truck clean and protected, while adding some color.

Did the paint shop paint the areas exposed in the rocker panels? I have the same ones on my truck and always wondered if they would have to come off to be repainted. Great to hear they don't! Cuz I agree they look great.

No they did not paint the exposed area in the rocker panels. I had them use the top of the SS rocker panels as the break line between old and new painted surface. The rocker's really held up well against the elements, they still look good after 5 years or so.

Thanks, the bumper is from Buckstop I think it's a nice bumper for what you pay and it looks different. The rocker panels are from Northwest Customs, they are about five years old and still looking nice.

I still have a few Items to add, so sometime next week I should have some new pictures. Over the weekend I add a carbon fiber dash kit along with new gage faces. I also decided to not install the Meth/water injection kit from Snow performance, Any one out there that would like a new, still in the box, injection kit??
