Hear is the 90 after about 3 weeks worth of work. It's still got a few bugs to work out but it is coming along. When it is done it should ride and drive better than stock. :D

The front springs are a set of 4 inch chevy lift springs that measured 51 inches. I added one leave (7) and rearched them to about 45 inches Witch made them about 11 inches taller. The cummins saged them down to about 8-9 inches of lift. The need a little more arch and a longer shackel to get some more travel.

The back are out of a dakota that were four inches longer than stock, I added two leaves (5) and arched them up to stock length. I also did a shackle flip in the back.

... and my wife complains about getting into my truck!

Nice work, I take it you work or have access to a spring shop?

Do they have bumper height restrictions in MI or do you have a way around it?

Yeah my girl is 5'1" and doesnt like getting in it. Some exhaust pipe nerf bars are on the list of things to do. A friend has a homeade spring bender. Looks kinda like a verticle log splitter thats capable of 20,000psi. Worked really slick. I have less than $200 in the lift. Tires were another story :{ . I like the pit bulls alot, they measure a full 39in and are smooth and pretty quiet considering the aggressive tread. 60+ they start talkin but not bad.

I havent fully reasearched the lift laws yet but for a 9,000-10,000 GVW the bumper heights are 30in I think. I think 3/4 ton ram is at like 8,500 GVW so it is even less height. My bumpers are at 38in so some crash bars are needed. Frame height is good though my ladder bar brackets hang down to about 22in at the drive shaft loop. thanks for the compliments!

WOW Cade! You have been busy my freind.

When your tweaking the injection pump and swaping injectors, do you rent the scafolding from the local Central Rent-All or have you purchased your own :-laf

Looking good Cade, now how are you going to keep that nice body out of the trees? Or are you just going to use it as a pavement pounder?

Some stepps and a platform that stay in the back are also on the list. Checking the oil is real fun  . It gets some trail and mud duty mainly to go pull out my friends jeeps. Still an everyday driver though.

Scott you can work off my flatbed. It should be high enough. It has steps on it also. :D

Here is a before pic for the people that weren't at SOP#2.

Go to this site.

http://www.turnoverball.com/

Then scroll down to custom truck beds. Click on it. Then on the next page scroll down till you find the med duty truck section. Click that link. The black 2nd gen in the top row has one very close to the one I am having built. Click on the pic of that 2nd gen.

Mine will have a turn over ball built in. Not a trap door.
