How many forum posters does it take to change a lightbulb?

I have used to original style for 20+ years and really like them. Not ever an issue . They are very handy to work on stairs.

I had a hard time justifying $300-$400 for the previous model, so I bought an off-shoot for less. It works on a similar principle, but is so awkward and heavy, that I usually use a different ladder when I need one!! You get what you pay for in this case, and if I had to do it again, I would buy this new ladder. What's that saying?... "The bitter taste of poor quality lingers long after the sweet taste of a lower price is forgotten. ". (or something along those lines)

I bought a little giant about 20-years ago. I've also got an assortment of Werner's, etc. The little giant is my most used ladder.

I have the little giant original and little giant folding 3 step with thigh bar, both are great. The 3 step is perfect for washing and doing maintenance on truck. :)

I have 2 of the original little giants, and they are great ladders, I don't know anything about the new style, but unless they have made some great changes in them, the werner is almost as good for a lot less money. Just my 2 cents worth.

Back when I was dating my wife and when we first got married, I got new tools for every Bday, Xmas, etc. She knows I love tools... Now I have just about every tool known to mankind...

One of these Xmas presents was the Little Giant ladder. I would have never bought this for myself due to the price, but I sure love it. I use every Xmas to hang lights on the house and also to wash/wax the 5er.

Its heavier than other ladders, but its sturdy and never wobbly. Its also very awesome for stairs.

Great ladder!

I bought one back in 2005ish (not a Revolution). At 35lb I find it incredibly light and easy to use.

My only complaint is it's very rickety at tall extensions. primarily due to the hinge. So if the Revolution has improved this, that's a big bonus.

What did you end up paying, hammersley?

I'm curious about the new "Rock Locks" and how they're different (better?) than the old timey "u-locks".
