I read somewhere that the use of only 2% biodiesel supplants the lost lubricity associated with ULSD. I'm currently running 10% (commercial grade, at a local fuel station), plus Stanadyne every tank.
As for seals, my entire fuel system plumbing is nitrile rubber - a material whose performance is degraded both by the use of biodiesel and ULSD. It doesn't appear there's any way to increase the aromatics content of the fuel, so there's nothing I can do anyway.
What about use of nitrile rubber seals in European diesels?
