New LP is in. But I have a problem with blue smoke and stumbling at higher RPMs.

This happened with the LP I just replaced, a week or two before I replaced it. Stumbling problem is still there. I can't pinpoint it.

My LP was not getting a good connection in the harness to the ECM so I wired it direct to the battery and to a flip switch. It's a bit tricky to start because I can overpressurize it on crankup, but all is good.

I also don't have a fuel pressure guage in the cab (soon, I promise) but I have a 0-30 guage on the post-filtering side of the filter. It is showing 16 psi idle, which is good.

I know that the stumbling/blue smoke puff happens with my FMS on and off. This is the only fueling mod I have. Turn off the FMS and it's stock (I know, boring). I also know that the blue smoke/stumbling does not happen everytime I go to WOT. It only happens on occasion and I can't see a pattern to it.

Could this be due to pulling fuel pressure down, a bad VP, or what? If it stumbled without the smoke, I would say there is an air leak. But what the heck is causing both smoke and stumble?

I'm getting a little tired of all this!

That's what I am thinking after reading a bunch of past threads.

I can't check my codes myself, unfortunately, due to the model year and no ability to do that. So, guess I am going to the auto store at lunch tomorrow to check it!
