I was starting to get worried about my fuel pressure numbers. 11 to 12 at an idle and 8-9 running with 5-6 flat out. I have had a new LP under the seat for a year "Just in case" and I figured that it was time. WOW... the new LP (from Cummins) pegs my 16 psi gauge at an idles and never drops below about 12. Sure glad I changed it out! I don't even want to think about loosing a VP-44.
I started by trying to do it from the bottom ie. removing the starter... don't even bother. Just remove the filter canister and do it all from the top. Lots easier...
