New MAG

I know theres several different magazines out there for trucks but you could never find anything for Diesels. Im not sure if this is a repost but I wanted to give everyone the heads up on it. Theres a new mag out called DIESEL POWER Oo. FINALLY.

I just tried to subscribe to the magazine but the website stated I could not get a subscription at this time .

i had to search hard to find the first 2 issues, but the 3rd one i went back to where i found the 2nd and they had one copy left... i think i need/want to subscribe to it. .

I'd be very careful about what you read in that mag. I used to be an editor for one of Primedia's publications (what would have been a sister pub to this mag), and it was very clear from upper management to make a point of writing good reviews in an effort of pleasing and getting new advertisers. This was especially the case when I worked on new, start-up magazines such as this.

I can believe that with advertising dollars being far more important than subscriptions.

Still, its fun stuff to look through. Kinda like reading Hot Rod back in the day.



I signed up for their news letter some time ago and haven't received anything yet. Today I subscribed to the mag and they said I will get my first issue in December. . bummer.
