I'll warm up to the new mega cab in time- hell it only took me 4 years to get over my first impressions when the 3G design came out... BUT... This photo just looks STOOPID!!... .

Nothing against cowboys or cowboy hat, but if that truck could talk I'm sure it would say: "Get this f&*$@$!ng thing OFF me!" :-laf

Even worse is that a group of people put a lot of thought to this and concluded that this would be the best thing to do to attract the cowboy crowd (or some crowd, who knows). And then some manager signed off on it.

I didn't go to the Texas State Fair (where that picture was taken) this year, but if that photo was taken in the vicinity of Big Tex, I could almost understand why they have the hat on the truck.

An Eagles ball cap would have been the better choice :-laf

Paul Bunion doesn't wear a cowboy hat!

They could show Paul's giant ox, Blue, taking a dump in the bed. Then they could say something about payload :-laf

Seems more like something you would see at a Ford rally. Out comes this Dodge with a geeky cowboy hat on it and everyone just laughs and laughs. Surprised they didn't put a big red clown nose and some orange hair poking out the sides.

Bozo the Ram.

you mean that c'boy hat is just a promotional gimmick? I was hoping it was part of option group code MOO2U. Though it would cut down on milage. On the other hand, they could hide a BIG auxillary fuel tank under it.

If I am not mistaken, TX is going to get the first deliveries of the Mega Cab Dually.

I am growing to like it more and more. I just need to see one up close and personal. And I sure as in hell am not going to the TX state fair to do so. That place is worse than going to a Nascar race. :-laf

Well I looked at a black Laramie Mega Cab at the Dodge Dealer in Sheldon, IA. One thing about it, it is R E A L L Y L O N G! This one had a auto & the read dvd player and it was 52K! OUCH!

You know that dodge trucks is the single biggest sponsor of the PRCA that might just have something to do with the hat guys.
