New Member and Owner

New Member to the forum, and a first time CTD owner. Picked up a 12 Ram 3500 yesterday from a local dealer, only has 7500 miles on her, so I am looking for many many MANY more miles in the future. Will be looking to this forum for some technical knowledge and tips and know how, especially related to towing and getting the most out of the CTD especially in cold weather environments....like Alaska !

I have a 2012. I suggest you look through the TDR magazine issues numbered in the 70s and learn about how the emissions systems work and how the turbo works with the exhaust brake. The buyer's guide is a very worthwhile read.

These are great trucks and will be happiest rolling down the road pulling something. This a great forum and I have learned a lot - and keep learning.

Congratulations and welcome to TDR! If you're not familiar with Cummins and especially your truck, it's a steep learning curve. The good thing is that you've come to the right place for good advice and intelligent discussions that will have you up to speed in a short period of time.
