Hello Gents,
This is my first post here. I have been a member of TDR for a while now, but just recently found the discussion forums. A little background about me...

I own a 94 Diesel Ram that is at Auto Wurks as we speak getting warmed over by Mike. I am a regular at Island Dragway here in North Jersey and bracket race a 10 second 87 Buick Grand National and an 11 second 87 Buick T-Type. To say I am a turbo fanatic is an understatement! If it's exhaust driven, i'm there! I am also a member of a few gun related discussion forums like AR15.com, 1911 Forum, AK-47.net and one of the moderators over at GlockTalk.com.

Just thought I would say hello to all you guys and give you an idea of who I am. I look forward to hanging out here and maybe get to meet some of you Cummins fans at a rally sometime in the future.

Hey, welcome aboard Turbonatr!!
I got rid of my GN when I got this truck, but my little brother now has it, so I have visitation rights!! #ad
I dont regret in any way getting the truck, but I DO miss the ol GN. Pulling up next to a stang or vette at a red light used to be fun. #ad
When I could get it to hook up, it was a high 12 sec car. A daily driver.
I frequent many of the same boards you mentioned. Are you an active competitor? I shoot High Power mostly. I'm by Seaside Heights, where are you?
Eric

Welcome - check out the Muncie, IN event we have coming up in June - http://gltdr.org/muncie01/june9.html . It's an all brand light duty diesel event (there will be up to 50 18 wheelers at the drags though) that'll have vendors, dyno runs, sled pulling, drag racing, etc. I can't wait to feel the ground rumble June 9th from all the diesel trucks rolling in!!

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.

I'm in north Jersey, Sussex County area. Moved up here from Essex County about 3 years ago. Unfortunately, I still make the commute to Bloomfield every day via Rt. 23. Need I tell you what the traffic is like?? #ad
Thankfully, i'll be getting out of People Republic of New Jermany in a couple months with my girlfriend. Headed to PA, where America starts. #ad

I would love to be able to shoot in competition, but most of my time is spent commuting during the week, and racing on the weekend. Now, with the upcoming move, I doubt i'll have the funds to shoot in competition, at least for a little while. A few of us from Glock Talk get together every first Friday of the month, though, at an indoor range in Belleville, NJ called the Bullet Hole. Great for blowing off some steam after the work week and the perfect way to kill time while Rt. 23 traffic dies down.

I'd love to get into some sled pulling with the Ram. Like I said, it's at Auto Wurks now getting a few mods, turbine housing, injectors, pump work, exhaust manifold upgrade, the usual stuff. Heck, if the weather is too cold for the GN this coming weekend, I just may flog the Ram down the track. #ad

I grew up in West Orange. I was born in Montclair.
Sussex county is nice, but still in NJ. #ad

If youre ever in the area, let me know. I belong to Central Jersey R&P club. It's a big facility. We have IPSC, IDPA, High power, silhouette, trap skeet, archery, bullseye and that(silly looking) cowboy shooting too ... . and I think thats all. #ad

There is also a good rifle range up where you'll be moving. Cherry point, or Cherry ridge, something like that... . I forget.
I believe it's up off Rt 23.
If you drive about 2 hrs out Rt 80, PA gets real nice. #ad

Unfortunatly, I dont want a commute like that. #ad

Eric

Yup, Cherry Ridge is the range up here. I just can't see paying 125 bucks a year to be a member there, though. I have been here in Sussex County for about 3 years now, heck, I shoot right in my backyard. #ad
I go to an outdoor range in PA to shoot my high powers. It's run by the state and open to the public.
