W250 Center Pin Spacing for Leaf Springs?

I am a new TDR member and new CTD owner. I am sure you have addressed most of these issues before and I will discover some of them as I search your archives. For now I will just post everything and thank you in advance for any input.



I have just purchased a 92 w250 club cab LE with 132000 miles on it. I have already done the following: Replace speed sensor - stop speedo needle wobble, 4 new skyjacker springs - remove 6 inch block and 2. 5 inch front springs, New calipers and cut rotors, new e brake cable, all new fluids in getrag/t-case and diffs, installed 94 Dodge seat, new carpet, new sterio system, new v cover gaskets and adjusted valves, new belt and hoses and anti-freeze, bought the 93 service manual, new door seals, alignment/steering inspection, new slop box on steering shaft,



As you all know these are all common problem items on most of these trucks. I still need to do the following:



Shocks - Billstiens/Ranchos or what - if Billstiens, which ones, is there more than one:



AC - blows ice cold and then randomly turns warm and humid then works again



Mileage - 10 pulling a 7500 pound travel trailer/18 empty @ 70 to 75 MPH (3. 5 gears) - is this enough?



Whine in Trans - I posted on 911 about this - it was quiet when I bought it - now it is not - am going to do a complete on the Getrag/205/Clutch - any parts and mods you recommend?



Cruise - works but surges especially on downhill coast - the linkage is a little sloppy - is this the problem?



Wheels - would like a set of AR23s if they make a set that fits my truck - any one else used these?



Tires - have read a lot of good about the Bridgestone Dualer AT REVO - is it what they say? Will a set of 285/75s fit in place of my 235/85s



Guages - this one has no tach - the dealer says he can't get the factory unit - would also like a pyro and boost guage - are they all as good as one another?



Door seal - even with new rubber, I can see daylight through the top passenger seal - can I just bend the mounting seam or ?



Sheetmetal cracks - this one has most of them - I have found the e brake/firewall crack, the box floor spot weld cracks, the door hinge cracks - when I get out the wire feed are there any more?



Exhaust - the muffler was gone when I bought the truck - are the aftermarket systems worth the price - how about the banks systems?



This is a very solid truck. Even all the factory primer is still on the bottom of the body - came from Wyoming. I know I will have 20K in it before I get done addressing all the items on my lists but I expect a fairly trouble free 100000 miles after that.

Brennan, shocks- I went to Monroe Sensatracs, love them, heck of a difference. AC- blow cold-turns warm-then cold, ac evaporator could be freezing up, then thawing. I'm not a ac tech so I'll leave this one up to someone else. I think too much charge will cause AC core to freeze up. ? Empty mileage sounds good, I get 18-19, helps if u keep your foot out of it. I dont pull anything so cant help w/ the loaded mi. My getrag whines in fifth gear real bad too. Make sure you use 5w30 engine oil in it. Fill is 3. 5 qts, I have 5 qts in it. Quieted it down a little by overfilling. Tires- with your lift springs, YES u can run 285/75's . Exhaust- get a section of 3" straight pipe and put in place of the muffler.
