After researching trucks for over a month, I finally ordered one. Here are the specs: 2500 Quad Cab 4X4 SB SLT, ETC Diesel, DDX 5 Speed, 3. 55 (no antispin), MXB front air dam, CUE rear seat storage, AHJ camper group, GXM keyless entry, GPD trailer folding mirrors, RBR CD/Radio, TXG LT265/75R16E AT OWL tires, AHC trailer tow group, Patroit Blue / Agate. Price was just a little over invoice, and dealer guarantees $1000 rebate (is it OK to say that here?). I will use the truck for basic transportation and towing our 21 foot Trailite trailer (~4000 lbs loaded) mostly in Colorado, but would like to upgrade to 27 foot 5th wheel later. Need to sell my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5. 2L. Thanks for all the behind the seens input from the forums. It helped alot. I turned 50 last Sunday, so this is my mid-life crisis purchase. I hope I can get used to the noise.

Welcome, you will begin to love the noise of the Cummins. I hate to ride in any other truck besides my Cummins. It will soon be that way for you.

Do you plan to BOMB? Once you ride in another truck with more power it is very hard not to want more power. Take this as a warning.
