I want to say thanks to Vaughn for keeping away from the mistake of buying a Chevy. I am now ready to learn all I can and learn the proper way to BOMB my truck to kick some Chebby a**. First off though I wonder what kind of fuel mileage your getting. I am currently getting 12-14mpg and reading some others posts it seem kind of low. My truck is bone stock except for K&N filter and no kitty.

Welcome, I'm glad one of the Dodge/Diesel crisis team got to you before you made a chevy mistake.
What is rear end ratio 4. 10 or 3. 54?
How heavy is your right foot?
Before you get Bombed you need to make sure every thing is up to par under the hood.
Examples of things that need to be in good working order; rubber fuel lines, return fuel valve and lift pump these are just basic fuel system components. Then you have your injector pump. There are a few other things to look at but usually if fuel system has a problem or two this could cause poor fuel mileage.
Guages will be the first thing you need.

I have a 4. 10 gear ratio. I am pretty light footed and drive about 10% city 90% highway.
I remember the truck used to get 17-18mpg consistanly about two years ago. Don't know what happened???
